Internships and Placements
Every candidate eligible (eligibility includes being in good academic standing, and passing the pre-placement test) for placements or internships leading to final placements has every likelihood to be placed well—and in many cases, land multiple opportunities. We assure placement opportunities to all eligible candidates.

A long list of channels, portals, corporations, PR / advertising agencies and production houses have been associated with PNI Media Institute through placements and internships.

The institute provides placement assistance to every eligible student towards gainful employment in the media and communication industries as well as in the burgeoning corporate world of CSR, through an elaborate, systematic process:

-As a professional institute, our focus is on placements. Building students’ employability skills is paramount at PNI Media Institute.
-A Placement Committee, headed by our Dean, scouts for opportunities and matches them with a student’s skills and aspirations.

The way we groom each student ensures employability at various levels (not all students have the same level of skills). Starting from developing “employment communication skills” that include self-evaluation and résumé-writing, the process then includes building a portfolio, including live industry projects and demonstration of acquired skills. Skill development forms a major theme at PNI Media Institute, and we encourage students to demonstrate these on various platforms. Interface with the industry, governments, and the who’s-who of various walks of communication and other fields is also an important step; exposure to world thinking on various subjects helps students gain one of the most important goals at PNI Media Institute—developing a worldview.

A formal process is adopted for obtaining internships and placements, whereby each individual student’s work is showcased to the industries. Internships are expected to lead to job offers, and in case they don’t, students may be given other options through institutional collaborations with the industry.
